Terms of Service

The Service is available to animal rescue organizations, shelters, foster coordinators, and individuals working to facilitate pet adoptions. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization.

Wag On Home provides tools to help rescue organizations create better pet presentations, manage pet listings, and connect pets with adopters. This includes:

• AI-assisted coaching for pet presentation content (coming soon)
• Photo and video processing and hosting for pet profiles
• Integration with adoption listing platforms (including YouTube, RescueGroups.org, Petfinder, and Adopt-a-Pet)
• Pet roster and listing management tools
• SMS notifications for transport scheduling, driver updates, and task assignments — see our SMS Consent page for details on opt-in and messaging practices

The Service is provided free of charge to rescue organizations. We are committed to keeping core rescue tools free permanently.

Wag On Home may display information about rescue organizations, transport providers, referrals, invitations, shared usage, reviews, ratings, or related network activity. This information is provided to help users coordinate and make more informed decisions, but it is not a guarantee of identity, legitimacy, safety, quality, compliance, or performance.

Unless we expressly say otherwise, Wag On Home does not independently certify, endorse, inspect, supervise, insure, or guarantee any rescue organization, foster, adopter, transport provider, or other third party on the platform. A rescue or transport provider's presence on the Service, referral history, usage count, rating, review, or invitation trail does not mean Wag On Home has verified that party's identity, qualifications, compliance status, or trustworthiness.

You are responsible for using your own judgment and conducting any due diligence you believe is appropriate before working with a rescue organization, transport provider, adopter, foster, or other third party. This includes, where relevant, confirming licensing, insurance, nonprofit status, safety practices, animal care standards, transport practices, references, and compliance with applicable laws.

User-submitted ratings, reviews, and feedback reflect the opinions of the people who submitted them. They are informational only, may be incomplete or subjective, and should not be treated as guarantees or professional advice.

You retain ownership of all photos, videos, descriptions, chat submissions, feedback, and other materials you upload, submit, or generate through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Wag On Home a non-exclusive license to use, store, reproduce, modify, process, publish, display, distribute, and transmit Your Content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

This includes, for example, using Your Content to promote an individual pet, promote your rescue, promote the Wag On Home platform, highlight the broader rescue community, create cross-rescue/community showcases, and support future sponsor-supported rescue promotion formats tied to adoptable pets and rescue visibility.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that animals featured in uploaded content are in your care or that you have appropriate permission to feature them.

Our AI-assisted coaching tools (in development) use artificial intelligence to generate pet descriptions, coaching recommendations, and presentation guidance. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may require your review and editing. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing it. Wag On Home does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

Our video publishing tools (in development) publish adoption videos to the Wag On Home YouTube channel using the YouTube Data API. These videos are processed and uploaded by our servers — you do not need a Google or YouTube account to use this feature. By using our video publishing tools, you acknowledge that the video will be hosted on YouTube and is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. Published videos are unlisted and accessible only via the link we provide. You may leave the Wag On Home platform at any time, but content already submitted, generated, published, or distributed through the Service may continue to exist where it has already been posted, shared, or incorporated into platform materials.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is false, misleading, or misrepresents an animal's health, temperament, or history
• Facilitate the sale of animals for commercial breeding or resale purposes
• Violate any applicable animal welfare laws
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights

Wag On Home may log chat interactions, prompts, uploads, generated outputs, ratings, reviews, adopter feedback, and other platform activity to operate, secure, review, and improve the Service. We may use this information to improve product quality, safety, coaching, moderation, and adoption outcomes research.

We may also collect adopter feedback, ratings, and experience signals related to rescues, transports, and adoption outcomes. We may use that feedback, along with other trust and safety information, when deciding whether to limit, suspend, or revoke future access to the platform.

Wag On Home may use anonymized or aggregated platform data to improve our services and to conduct research on adoption outcomes. Individual rescue organizations and animals are not identified in published research or aggregated reports without explicit consent, unless the underlying content was already intentionally submitted for public distribution or promotion.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not discontinue core rescue tools without providing rescue organizations adequate time to export their data.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wag On Home is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed $100.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or emailing your registered address. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
